Ethibond-Excel polyester suture is a synthetic, non-absorbable surgical suture with a polyfil structure, but with a polybutylate sheath, which is responsible for improved gliding through the tissue. The suture material is available in uncoloured and green versions. Ethibond-Excel sutures are indicated for use in the general adaptation and/or ligation of soft tissue, including cardiovascular, ophthalmic and neurological procedures.
