Thermarmour Hypothermia Evacuation Bag 2.0
Every accident victim is at risk of hypothermia. The Thermarmour hypothermia evacuation bag is designed to prevent hypothermia for hours and to safely rescue injured persons in difficult terrain. The rescue bag has proven itself for years with rescue teams, expeditions, and armed forces and has been successfully tested in Antarctica at temperatures of -25 °C.
The Thermarmour X multilaminate composite used is designed for extreme loads.
It protects against cold, wind, and rain. The high thermal insulation is retained even when wet. The floor can handle heavy stuff, so the rescue bag can be dragged over rocks and injured people can be taken care of and evacuated even in tough terrain. No external heat source is needed to keep the body at a normal temperature. The body heat that's given off is stored and reflected back, keeping the injured person from getting too cold for hours.
