With its special design, the BD Microgard safety cap significantly reduces blood splashes after opening the tubes. A larger diameter makes the tube easier to handle. An integrated lever makes it easier to open the tubes. In combination with an extension sleeve, the BD Microtainer tubes with Microgard closure fit into 13 x 75 mm racks.
