For the benefit of patients, these parameters have improved the diagnosis of inflammation compared to traditional markers. This can also help you in adjusting patients to medication, e.g. antibiotics.
The limit values are as follows:
The cut off for SAA is 10 μg / ml (viral inflammation).
The cut off for CrP is also 10 μg / ml (bacterial inflammation).
Evaluation after 5 minutes.
Storage at 2 - 30 °C. Do not freeze.
The CLEARTEST SAA and CrP is an immunological rapid test for the detection of human serum amyloid A (SAA) and C-reactive protein in human blood samples as an aid in the diagnosis of inflammatory conditions. The cut-off is 10 µg/ml for SAA and 10 µg/ml for CrP.
Indications for this test:
• Diagnosis and assessment of the course of inflammatory processes
• Detection of rejection reactions after transplantation
