Suprasorb P + PHMB with perforated wound contact layer impresses with reliable exudate absorption. The PHMB incorporated in the foam acts both in the dressing and in the wound. For this reason, Suprasorb P + PHMB is classified as a class III medical device.
The material is soft and conformable. The special surface texture of the wound contact layer of Suprasorb P + PHMB is gentle on easily damaged surfaces such as healing wounds. The semi-permeable PU carrier layer maintains a moist wound environment. It is impervious to bacteria and water.
Suprasorb P + PHMB is suitable for use under compression bandages.
