JetCan® Pro Huber-Safety port needle

The JetCan® Pro safety needle is a non-piercing needle for puncturing implanted port systems. It is compatible with high-pressure ports and is suitable for performing high-pressure injections in connection with diagnostic procedures. The integrated safety mechanism reduces the risk of needlestick injuries and contact with hazardous fluids.

Advantages

Suitable for high pressure injections

With up to 21 bar (300 psi) at a maximum flow rate of 2 to 5 ml/s, e.g. for the administration of contrast media (only in combination with a corresponding high-pressure suitable port system).

Details

The movable, detachable wings of the JetCan® Pro safety hypodermic needle can be folded up for a better grip during injection.
When folded down, they form a flat profile for easy application of the sterile dressing.
A compact and transparent base allows visual inspection of the puncture site to detect signs of infection.
A comfort pad on the underside of the base provides cushioning between the patient's skin and the injection cannula.
The JetCan® Pro safety hypodermic needle in the Y-attachment version allows additional medication to be administered without interrupting an ongoing infusion.
