The current regulation for laboratory incubators states that culture mediums may no longer stay in contact with the housing of the incubator. The Labocult has got from the beginning a shelf, which prevents the direct contact between culture mediums and housing.

The Labocult heating oven features a digital control with timer shut-off function and easy-to-read LED display for simple temperature control. The display and control foil is washable, easy to use and include signal lamps for function and alarm in addition to the on/off switch. A new feature is the button for activating the LED interior lighting, which can be reached from the outside. This helpful function allows the inspection of the culture media without interrupting the incubation process. Temperatures, from 5 °C above room temperature to 40 °C, can be set in precise 0.1 °C increments. The housing of the Labocult is made of painted sheet steel, the interior is made of stainless chrome steel and has a usable depth of 20 cm. The digital control guarantees a short heating time and has an accuracy of ± 0.5 °C at a temperature of 37 °C.
