How it works:
This infiltrator has a stainless-steel syringe body with central piston, spring and lever. The injection head is fitted with a valve to retain the liquid when the instrument is loaded. To inject the 0.1 ml + 5 % of medication, a wheal of 10 mm diameter is raised. The medication is forced through high-pressure (100 bar) to penetrate the central point of the wheal. The transparent barrel containing the liquid to be injected has a capacity of 0,4 ml (40 doses).
A clamping ring fixes the tip and barrel onto the body of the syringe.
The instrument can be taken apart for cleaning and sterilising.
Anaesthetica must be removed from the Dermojet within 2 days to prevent residues from building. Dermojet HR: For Type B sterilisers, with Pyrex container and stainless steel ring. Replacement parts are also available.
